1. Who we are

AutoMatch ("AutoMatch", "we", "us") runs the marketplace at this website, based at 11605 Abercorn St, Suite 100, Savannah, GA. By using AutoMatch you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use AutoMatch for a company, you confirm you can accept these Terms for it.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that inbox secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You must be 18 or older and give accurate information. One person or business per account.

3. What AutoMatch does and doesn't do

We match businesses with consultants, provide deal rooms for messaging and milestones, and process payments through our payment partner. Consultants are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. The business and the consultant contract with each other for the work; AutoMatch isn't a party to that agreement and doesn't supervise or guarantee the work, its results, or either party's conduct. We review consultant profiles before listing them, but a review isn't an endorsement or a background check.

4. Consultant profiles and memberships

5. Milestone payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Consultants receive payouts through a Stripe Connect account and agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. AutoMatch doesn't store card or bank account numbers.

  1. Propose. The consultant proposes a milestone with a deliverable and price ($50 to $50,000).
  2. Fund. The business pays the milestone plus the business service fee by bank transfer or card. Bank transfers usually take about 4 business days to clear.
  3. Deliver. The consultant does the work and marks it delivered.
  4. Approve. The business approves the work, and the milestone amount minus the consultant service fee is released to the consultant. Releases are final.

Funded money is held in AutoMatch's account with Stripe until it's released or refunded. AutoMatch isn't a bank or a licensed escrow agent and doesn't pay interest on held funds. If a business doesn't respond within 14 days after a milestone is marked delivered, AutoMatch may review the deal and release or refund the payment based on the messages and work in the deal room.

6. Service fees

Service fees apply during the free launch period too. The business service fee is refunded along with the milestone if a milestone is refunded before release. We may change fees with at least 30 days' email notice; changes don't affect milestones already funded.

7. Refunds and disputes

8. Keeping deals on AutoMatch

Our fees pay for matching, payment protection and dispute help. So for 24 months after a business and a consultant are first introduced on AutoMatch, both agree to:

If you pay or get paid outside AutoMatch for a relationship that started here, you owe AutoMatch the service fees that would have applied (8% of the amounts paid), and we may suspend or close your account. A business can end this obligation early by paying a one-time opt-out fee of 15% of the first year's expected project value or $1,500, whichever is more. Email us to arrange it.

Please report any request to pay off-platform. It helps keep both sides protected.

9. Acceptable use

Don't use AutoMatch to:

10. Work product and content

Ownership of work product, licences, confidentiality and warranties for a project are agreed between the business and the consultant. If they haven't agreed otherwise in writing, the business owns the deliverables for a milestone once it's paid and released, and the consultant keeps their pre-existing tools, templates and know-how. You keep ownership of what you post on AutoMatch and give us permission to host and display it to run the service (for example, showing an approved consultant profile in search results).

11. Disclaimers and liability

AutoMatch is provided "as is". We don't promise that matches will succeed, that the site will always be available, or that any consultant's work will meet your needs. To the fullest extent the law allows, AutoMatch isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for the acts of businesses or consultants, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the service fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you. You agree to cover AutoMatch's reasonable costs from claims caused by your breach of these Terms or by your work or project.

12. Suspension and closing accounts

You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, put other users at risk, or create payment risk. Funded milestones that are still open when an account closes will be released or refunded under section 7. Sections 6 to 8, 10, 11 and 13 continue after an account closes.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. Any dispute with AutoMatch will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Chatham County, Georgia, unless the law where you live requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms as AutoMatch grows. We'll change the date at the top and email registered users about significant changes before they take effect. Using AutoMatch after the changes take effect means you accept them.
